Trevoh Chalobah is poised to leave Chelsea this summer, with Manchester United expressing interest in the defender. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Chalobah is “disappointed” about not being included in Chelsea’s pre-season tour in the USA.

Chalobah, 25, has progressed through Chelsea’s youth academy and has made 58 Premier League appearances since his debut in 2021. Despite his contributions, new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca does not prioritize retaining him, especially with the arrival of Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham and the anticipated return of Wesley Fofana from injury.

Several clubs are interested in Chalobah, including Manchester United, which seeks to bolster its defense following the departures of Raphael Varane and Willy Kwambala. Chelsea is yet to receive a formal offer for Chalobah but is hoping for a fee of around £25 million, potentially holding out for closer to £30 million.
