Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has left Manchester United to join one of the biggest clubs in world football! this evening
As anticipated, the rumor mill is producing incredible tale after exceptional story as the summer transfer window for 2024 draws to a close.
We have seen a little bit of everything this week, from absurd swap deals to teams pleading for free world-class players to superstars being linked to shocking transfers.
These are our choices for the top seven ludicrous transfer rumors circulating at the moment.
The Julian Alvarez-Rodrygo trade
According to El Nacional in Spain, Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has suggested a trade that would send Julian Alvarez to Real Madrid in return for Rodrygo Goes.
El Nacional, in our opinion, is a gift that never goes away.
The Spanish newspaper has produced yet another gem this week by:
A) Demanding that Guardiola, not Txiki Begiristain, the sports director, handle Man City’s transfer business.
B) Suggesting a straight trade between two players whose current market valuations are wildly disparate, particularly in light of Rodrygo and Alvarez’s divergent results in 2023–2024.
C) Given that they signed Savio this summer, Stating Man City would be looking to add another wide forward.

The whisper
Duncan Castles claims that Sander Berge is a substitute for top target Manuel Ugarte at Manchester United.
Our opinion
This transfer rumor may have made sense in 2019.
However, seeing Berge perform in the Premier League and Championship in previous years, it does not truly do that presently, in 2024.
Juventus to Armando Broja

According to a rumor from Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus is looking for a backup striker and has identified Armando Broja of Chelsea as a potential candidate.
Our opinion
In light of Arkadiusz Milik’s ongoing fitness issues, it seems logical that Juventus would be looking to add a fresh striker to back up Dusan Vlahovic.
To cover this gap in their offense, Broja would undoubtedly be a less expensive choice, but is he a sufficient one? It is difficult to say for sure presently.
