“He is currently the best player in Manchester City Squad currently, I would pay £200million to have him at my club-Darren Bent says he’d pay £200m to have Man City man at his club, it’s not Haaland

It is not Haaland; Darren Bent said he would spend £200 million to have a Man City player at his team. Manchester City is a team at the top of its game.

Many of even Europe’s best clubs would like to operate like City, from top to bottom, and Manchester United has appointed their former workers, Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox.

In terms of how much hardware he wins and the standards he sets season after season, Pep Guardiola, the manager of this Manchester City team, is raising the bar in terms of tactics.

Together, City’s roster has some of the greatest players in the world as well as individuals who are passionate about improving both individually and as a group and never seem to settle for second best.

It is no accident that the English giants have prospered under Guardiola’s leadership given these circumstances.

They have become an exceptional club, yet it is hard to attribute their success to a single source.

ADVANCED CITY STORIES
Together with Real Madrid, City is currently the ideal destination for any player, according to Murillo of Nottingham Forest.

But Pep Guardiola is leading the charge in the team’s rise.

Even though the Sky Blues enjoyed success under Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini, teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich were still regarded as the best in European football.

Bent reiterates his Pep Guardiola assertion.
But since Pep Guardiola joined Manchester City, the team’s fortunes have drastically improved.

So much so that, in May, Sky Sports quoted Stephen Warnock as saying that current City team is the best in Premier League history.

Perhaps no one would make similar claims about the championship teams that Mancini and Pellegrini led to victory in 2012 and 2014, respectively.

Darren Bent said, “A lot, break the bank, man, whole budget,” in response to a question on talkSPORT concerning the amount he would pay to name Pep Guardiola as Manchester City’s head coach.

“Would you pay £200 million?” inquired Bent from Andy Goldstein.

With a quick “Yeah,” the pundit answered that he would pay £200 million.

“Would you?” inquired Goldstein once more.

Says Darren Bent: “You have to.”

Few players have the ability to change a team like Pep Guardiola does.
In the end, Pep Guardiola infuses any team with a certain kind of brilliance that even the best players in the world are unable to match.

Though no single player can have the same influence, the £378,846-a-week man’s tactical theories appear to set the tone for how most of international football plays its games.

Guardiola makes sure that his teams always stay one step ahead of the competition as a consequence.

When most teams appear to have adjusted to the Catalan’s ideas, he either goes back to his more basic tactical principles or devises his next big scheme.

Darren Bent’s claim is understandable given that Pep Guardiola’s influence and the respect he commands in any locker room are major factors in players choosing to sign with the clubs he manages. £200 million would be the asking price for one of the best players in the world, if not the best player in the world.
