Harry Maguire has returned to the Manchester United team for this Saturday’s Community Shield matchup at Wembley against City.
Maguire was a precautionary exclusion from the team for last Saturday’s 3-0 friendly loss to Liverpool in South Carolina, and manager Erik ten Hag referred to Maguire’s involvement against City as a “question mark” on Thursday.
The 31-year-old center back, nevertheless, is traveling to London with the United team for their season-opening match.
The United team did not include Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, or Victor Lindelof on the train when they departed Stockport Station.
As a precaution, Harry Maguire missed the match against Liverpool, although Ten Hag stated on Thursday that he is still questionable for Saturday. “So, after his training, we must determine whether or not he is healthy enough to be accessible.
