Manchester United appoint the Frenchman as new manager after latest board meeting confirmed the departure of Eric Ten Hag this morning – farewell our FA cup Champion

Zinedine Zidane is emerging as a possible choice to take charge of Manchester United’s underperforming team, with ex-United star Louis Saha backing the Frenchman as a replacement for Erik ten Hag. Although Ten Hag claims he gets the best out of his players, his job is at risk, especially if the team fails to qualify for European competitions. Zidane, who has only coached Real Madrid and led them to three consecutive Champions League victories, could be a compelling option for the position, despite having turned down United’s approaches in the past.
