Liverpool has just contacted Bundesliga club for this £100m+ super defender! after Trent Arnold announced he is leaving in January 🚨 This is working this time as the club are impressed with the offer😱
Liverpool has reportedly identified a star player from the Bundesliga, valued at €100 million, as a potential successor to Trent Alexander-Arnold. This comes after Alexander-Arnold announced his departure in January to join a top Spanish club.
According to sources, Liverpool is keeping an eye on three Bayer Leverkusen players: Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, and Exequiel Palacios.
Interest in Wirtz, in particular, is growing, with the midfielder open to a potential move to the Premier League. Although Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also interested, a transfer could be more likely in the summer of 2025. Wirtz’s price tag is expected to be around €100 million, as several top European clubs are set to compete for his signature.
Jeremie Frimpong is also on Liverpool’s radar. With a £34 million release clause, the Dutch right-back is seen as a strong candidate to replace Alexander-Arnold, should he leave. However, Manchester United is also vying for Frimpong’s services.
Lastly, Exequiel Palacios has caught Liverpool’s attention, but his €60 million fee and recent injury concerns might prove challenging. Both Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested in the Leverkusen midfielder.
