At Villa Park, Aston Villa held Manchester United to a 0-0 draw, forcing United to settle for a point.

Despite failing to register a point, United was able to maintain a clean sheet against a Villa squad that was on a roll and had defeated Bayern Munich in the Champions League midweek. As a result, United only has eight points in the Premier League standings heading into the international break in October.

So, when international matches are happening all over the world, Erik ten Hag’s side will take a two-week break. On Saturday, October 19, United plays Brentford at Old Trafford in their Premier League comeback.
