FIFA has just announced VERY SAD NEWS for the Officials and Referees of the match between Manchester City vs Wolves after awarding Man City a Controversial Last minutes Offside goal and this have cost them thier Job

Even though VAR sent the late winner from John Stones’ match against Wolves for an on-field review, referee Chris Kavanagh chose not to rule it out. Stones had gone in before realizing that his effort had really been denied. Stones appeared to have saved City far into injury time once more.

Stones discovered that the goal was pending a VAR review after he got back from a celebration in the stands. Following the goal, which VAR official Stuart Atwell first disallowed because Bernardo Silva was standing close to Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa when the header was met, Kavanagh was advised to go to the pitchside monitor.

Referees using the screen usually indicate that a decision will be reversed. After that, Kavanagh scored, setting off riotous scenes on the City field.

The Premier League Match Center provided an explanation for the choice on X (formerly Twitter). Because Bernardo Silva was in the goalkeeper’s line of sight and in an offside position, Stones’ goal was disallowed on the field. The VAR suggested an on-field after finding that Bernardo Silva was not in the goalkeeper’s line of sight or had any effect on him.

When Stones headed the ball, Silva—already one of the lesser players on the field—was ducking even though he was in an offside position. Additionally, the midfielder was not directly in front of Sa; rather, he was positioned to one side of him.

With this goal, Stones has now scored twice for City to win points—the first being his late equalizer against Arsenal last month—and Pep Guardiola’s team has returned to the top of the Premier League ahead of Liverpool’s match against Chelsea. Once more, City overcame a deficit to win.

Wolves, in last position, had taken the lead early at Molineux thanks to a magnificent goal from Jorgen Strand Larsen. However, Josko Gvardiol equalized just before halftime. Sa made many outstanding saves to deny City multiple occasions, but Stones surged in for the game-winning goal.
