He is no way near world class player, he is too average for me” Troy Deeney claims Mohamed Salah is ‘NOT world class’ and his reason will shock you 😬❗ Liverpool fans are in total disbelief and angry with his response 😡

Troy Deeney has stirred controversy among Liverpool fans by asserting that Mohamed Salah does not qualify as “world-class.”

Salah has been a pivotal figure in Liverpool’s success under Jurgen Klopp, playing an instrumental role in their Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup triumphs. His contributions have solidified his reputation as one of the game’s most consistent performers.

This season, Salah continues to impress under Arne Slot, amassing 10 goals and 10 assists in just 17 appearances. However, Deeney remains unconvinced that the Egyptian forward merits the “world-class” label.

Since his arrival at Liverpool in 2017, Salah has accumulated an astonishing 221 goals and 99 assists in 366 matches—a record many argue firmly places him in the elite category.

Nonetheless, during an interview with talkSPORT, Deeney shared a contrasting opinion.

“Mohamed Salah is undoubtedly brilliant and essential to Liverpool’s success. They should never have allowed his contract situation to become an issue,” Deeney remarked. “But for me, he doesn’t quite reach the level of ‘world-class.’”

Deeney elaborated on what defines a “world-class” player for him: “To me, a world-class player is someone I’d want my kids to emulate. If I had to choose, I’d prefer they modeled their game on Vinicius Jr. rather than Salah.”

While Deeney acknowledged Salah’s exceptional goal-scoring prowess and consistency, he stood by his stance. “That’s just my personal take. Salah might read this and think, ‘Who is Troy anyway?’—and fair enough—but this is my honest opinion.”

Deeney’s comments have sparked widespread debate, with many fans and pundits likely to challenge his polariz

ing assessment.
