Reports coming from Anfield this morning that Two of Liverpool’s most important players are expected to leave the club next year. šŸšØ This is going to be a huge loss šŸ˜±

Several Liverpool players are currently facing uncertain futures due to their contract situations. Key figures like Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold are all entering the final year of their contracts, leaving their long-term commitment to the club unresolved.

Liverpool is eager to retain these pivotal players but may have delayed negotiations too long, weakening their bargaining position. Salah has been heavily linked to a potential move to the Saudi Pro League, while Real Madridā€™s interest in Alexander-Arnold has become widely known. Reports suggest the Spanish giants are keen to add the talented right-back to their squad, alongside recent high-profile signings like Jude Bellingham and Kylian MbappĆ©.

Former Liverpool star Jan Molby has also voiced concerns about the clubā€™s goalkeeping situation. According to Molby, both Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher could seek moves away from Anfield following the arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili. Signed during the summer and loaned to Valencia, the Georgian goalkeeper is expected to join Liverpool next season, potentially displacing both Alisson and Kelleher.

Molby, speaking with the Anfield Index, highlighted Mamardashviliā€™s acquisition as a clear indicator of Liverpoolā€™s long-term plans. ā€œItā€™s obvious they see him as their future first-choice goalkeeper,ā€ Molby remarked. He suggested that Alisson might consider leaving after achieving so much with the club, while Kelleher could pursue a transfer to secure regular playing time instead of returning to a backup role once Alisson regains fitness.

Molby also pointed out that clubs like Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur may be in the market for goalkeeping reinforcements, providing opportunities for Alisson and Kelleher to make a move. ā€œThereā€™s a strong possibility that both of Liverpoolā€™s top goalkeepers could depart,ā€ he added.

With Mamardashvili likely to take over as Liverpoolā€™s primary goalkeeper, the club may need to brace for significant turnover in their squad. Combined with unresolved contract situations for key outfield players, manager Arne Slot could face the daunting task of overhauling the team to maintain competi

tiveness.
