Severe reports have announced that Paris Saints German are in contact with Liverpool to sign Mohamed Salah next summer. The Deal expected to be up to 80 million. Is that the reason why Liverpool is yet to offer Mohamed Salah a new contract?

Mo Salah’s visible frustration over stalled contract talks has drawn mixed reactions from football pundits.

While discussions between his agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, and Liverpool appear to be positive, Salah’s concerns are justified. With only 30 days left, he, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk will soon be eligible to negotiate pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs.

Despite the uncertainty, Salah has made it clear that leaving Liverpool is not his preferred option. The Egyptian forward has repeatedly voiced his strong connection to the club and its passionate fanbase, especially during a season where Liverpool continues to excel both domestically and in European competitions.

PSG Rumors Resurface

Speculation linking Salah to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is not new. In October, reports suggested that PSG’s manager, Luis Enrique, viewed Salah as a key target.

However, recent claims about advanced negotiations for a potential move in the 2025/26 season have been denied. Insider Ben Jacobs dismissed these rumors, suggesting that PSG’s interest might simply provide Salah with leverage to push for better terms in his ongoing contract talks with Liverpool.

What Does Salah Want?

According to The Athletic, Salah might be open to a one-year contract extension, but this may not align with his or his agent’s long-term expectations. They are likely seeking a deal that reflects his continued stellar performances and his value to the team.

Given Salah’s consistent excellence and proven durability in the Premier League, it would be a strategic move for Liverpool to meet his demands. A short-term extension could provide breathing room for more comprehensive negotiations while allowing the club to focus on the expiring contracts of other key players like Alexander-Arnol

d and Van Dijk.
