“I will leave Manchester United and join my dream club this January. I’m confident at that, Marcus Rashford tell the media the Club he will be joining during January Transfer Window
Glenn Murray, a former Premier League striker, believes that Manchester United selling Marcus Rashford would be a blessing in disguise for the player. Rashford has been omitted from Ruben Amorim’s matchday squads for the last three games, despite being fit and available.
Amorim cited standards and application as the reasons for Rashford’s exclusion. As a result, Manchester United has put Rashford up for sale, with a possible departure in the January transfer window or more likely in the summer.
Murray thinks that a fresh start away from the pressures of being Manchester United’s poster boy would be beneficial for Rashford. “I feel it’s the right time for him to leave the club,” Murray said. “He’s carried the weight of Manchester United and the supporters’ expectations for too long. I’d like to see him get a new break and enjoy his football elsewhere.”
Rashford’s future is uncertain, but it’s clear that he’s ready for a new challenge. His £300,000-a-week wages will likely limit his options, but there’s already interest from several Premier League clubs and European powerhouses like PSG, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund.
A move to Saudi Arabia has also been rumored, but Rashford is reportedly not interested in a move to the Middle East at this stage in his career. With his departure from Manchester United seemingly imminent, Rashford will be looking for a fresh start where he can rediscover his form and enjoy his football.
Meanwhile, former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen criticized Noussair Mazraoui’s performance in the 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth. Mazraoui conceded a penalty, and Owen branded his play as “stupid.” Owen took issue with Mazraoui’s decision-making, saying that he should have stayed on his feet and ushered the opponent away instead of diving in.
