Manchester City are planning to get rid of two of their greatest ever players, but replacing them with one insane superstar

In a surprise move, Manchester City is reportedly poised to let two of its most prized assets, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne, depart the club this summer. De Bruyne, whose contract expires at the end of the season, has been a stalwart for the Citizens since joining in 2015. Despite being linked to a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League last year, the 34-year-old Belgian midfielder opted to see out the final year of his deal at the Etihad Stadium.

De Bruyne’s campaign has been marked by inconsistency, with the midfielder featuring sporadically in Pep Guardiola’s lineup. Nevertheless, he has still managed to contribute eight goals in 19 Premier League appearances, underscoring his enduring quality. Silva, on the other hand, has been a regular starter for Guardiola’s side, although his approach has drawn criticism from some quarters.

According to sources, Guardiola is willing to part ways with both players, allowing De Bruyne to run down his contract before departing. The club has already identified a potential replacement in Real Madrid’s talented young midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga. The French international is reportedly keen to remain at the Bernabeu, but only if Carlo Ancelotti remains at the helm beyond this season.

Camavinga’s agency, CAA Stellar, has established close ties with Manchester City, having facilitated Omar Marmoush’s move to the club in January. As the Citizens seek to revamp their squad ahead of next season, Camavinga’s potential arrival could mark a significant shift in the team’s midfield dynamics.
