I will join Manchester United if Amorim promise me this thing”: Newcastle United’s striker Alexander Isak says he’s ready to join Manchester United but on ONE condition. I PERSONALLY THINKS IT’S NECESSARY FOR AMORIM TO GRANT HIM THIS REQUEST.

Manchester United is stepping up its efforts to sign a proven goal scorer as Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee have struggled to deliver consistently this season. Højlund has managed just eight goals, while Zirkzee has six, emphasizing the need for a more clinical finisher.

Manager Rúben Amorim had initially considered bringing in Viktor Gyökeres, but the Swedish forward’s insistence on playing Champions League football—a competition United may not qualify for next season—has forced the club to shift its focus elsewhere.

Now, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has emerged as a top target. The 26-year-old Nigerian striker has been in phenomenal form, scoring 26 goals and providing five assists. His performances have caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Liverpool, making the competition for his signature fierce.

Napoli is reportedly willing to part ways with Osimhen at the end of the season, but his price tag could pose a challenge for United. To facilitate the move, the club is considering a swap deal, initially involving Højlund. However, fresh reports suggest that Alejandro Garnacho might instead be used as part of the negotiation. Napoli was previously interested in Garnacho during the January transfer window but hesitated due to United’s €70 million valuation. With Antonio Conte searching for a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a deal involving Garnacho could now be revisited.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray is eager to keep Osimhen permanently but may struggle to meet Napoli’s financial demands, making a move to the Premier League more likely. A clause in Osimhen’s contract also allows him to consider offers from other clubs, which could accelerate negotiations.

With the summer transfer window approaching, Manchester United will have to move quickly and creatively to secure Osimhen. The club’s ability to structure an attractive deal, potentially including player swaps, will be key in landing one of Europe’s most sought-after

strikers.
