Both Liverpool and Manchester City are reportedly keen on acquiring Chelsea’s breakout talent Cole Palmer, who may be headed for the exit at Stamford Bridge this summer.
According to journalist Simon Phillips, Liverpool are seriously considering a surprise move for the 21-year-old England international. Since making the switch from Manchester City to Chelsea, Palmer has been in sensational form, scoring 34 goals in 89 appearances—proving to be a brilliant acquisition for the Blues.
Despite his limited chances under Pep Guardiola, Palmer was well-regarded at City. Now, both his former club and the Reds are closely tracking his situation. Phillips noted in his Substack report that City have already made contact over a potential return, while Liverpool are watching developments with interest. However, Chelsea are expected to resist any offers.
