After the SACKING of Enzo Maresca Yesterday Chelsea have appointed a new head coach this morning, and he will manage the Club Vs Manchester City on Sunday Clash

Enzo Maresca’s tenure at Chelsea has ended after just eighteen months in charge, with Liam Rosenior now emerging as the overwhelming 4/11 favorite to take his place.
The news broke in the early hours of New Year’s Day that Chelsea’s leadership were set to make a crucial decision on Maresca’s future, and they acted swiftly and decisively. His departure was officially confirmed shortly after lunchtime, just three days before the team’s upcoming match against Manchester City.
Chelsea’s official statement read: “Chelsea Football Club and head coach Enzo Maresca have parted company.
“During his time at the club, Enzo led the team to success in the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup. Those achievements will remain an important part of the club’s recent history, and we thank him for his contributions to the club.”
Tuesday’s 2-2 home draw with Bournemouth proved to be Maresca’s last match in an eighteen-month spell that delivered both Champions League qualification through a fourth-place finish and silverware in the form of the lucrative Club World Cup trophy won during the summer.
Liam Rosenior has attracted significant betting support, establishing himself as the clear 4/11 favorite to succeed Maresca in what would be an interesting move between two BlueCo-owned clubs.
Rosenior currently manages Strasbourg, one of Chelsea’s sister clubs within the multi-club network, and has impressed by guiding them to seventh place in Ligue 1 while also excelling in the Conference League, where they finished top of the league phase.
