VERY SAD News has been announced for Chelsea Winger Raheem Sterling this evening ahead of the January Transfer Window after the sacking of Enzo Maresca

Raheem Sterling may have an opportunity to exit Chelsea, with Fulham reportedly interested in the sidelined winger, though he has rejected overtures from West Ham.
According to The Times, both Fulham and West Ham showed interest in the 31-year-old player, but Sterling declined West Ham’s approach and is now waiting to see if Fulham will pursue him more aggressively. Fulham had explored acquiring Sterling previously this year.
During the summer transfer window, when Chelsea relegated him to their unused player group, Sterling refused offers from Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen because he preferred staying in London to be near his family.
Sterling reportedly wants only a permanent transfer from Chelsea rather than another loan arrangement. He spent last season on a temporary move to Arsenal, where he worked again with Mikel Arteta, though he saw limited playing time as a backup option.
After returning to Chelsea, he remained outside Enzo Maresca’s tactical plans. Whether this situation might shift under new management following Maresca’s New Year’s Day departure is unclear. However, Sterling currently opposes another loan unless it includes a mandatory purchase clause.
Meanwhile, West Ham plans to invest over £40 million on two attacking players to strengthen their fight against relegation. The club, currently in the relegation zone, is close to securing Lazio’s Taty Castellanos for £25 million.
While Castellanos’s contract details are still being negotiated, West Ham has already arranged a £17 million deal for Gil Vicente’s Pablo to improve their scoring capabilities.
Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who has his first opportunity to strengthen his roster, also wants to add a winger and is targeting Fulham’s Adama Traore. If Traore departs from Craven Cottage, it could create an opening for Sterling.
Sterling’s 2023 move to Chelsea was meant to revitalize his career after struggling at Manchester City. However, the former FWA Player of the Year has faced challenges in London and hasn’t recaptured the excellent form he displayed under Pep Guardiola. His Chelsea record stands at 19 goals in 81 appearances.
