Pep Guardiola have just announced the shocking VAR Error By referees of Manchester City VS Manchester United- PGMOL under scrutiny over surprising VAR mistake made by The Referee during the Man City Vs Man United after Diogo Dalot was not Giving a RED CARD after rough Tackle and VAR check

Officials have clarified their reasoning for not sending off Diogo Dalot following his tackle on Jeremy Doku during Saturday’s Manchester derby clash. The Manchester United defender was shown a yellow card after his raised boot made contact with Doku’s knee area.

Following referee Anthony Taylor’s initial yellow card decision, VAR reviewed the incident but upheld the original ruling. Officials determined there wasn’t enough deliberate intent to warrant a sending-off. According to the Premier League’s match centre on X, the decision was maintained because “the contact deemed to be glancing and not with excessive force,” despite the challenge being reckless.

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville, a former United captain, expressed worry for Dalot before VAR’s final verdict was announced.

“Not good. It is knee high. The ball is there and Jeremy Doku shifts it,” Neville commented. “Diogo Dalot is very late. He is clearly looking for the ball, but Doku is too quick for him.”

The match carries significant implications for both clubs. United are seeking victory to strengthen their European qualification prospects, while City aim to close the gap on Arsenal at the top of the table.

City trail league leaders Arsenal by six points following a winless streak of three matches. United sit in seventh position and haven’t maximized a favorable fixture schedule, though they remain within three points of fourth-placed Liverpool.

United’s interim manager Michael Carrick explained his squad rotation decisions to Sky Sports’ Neville, particularly regarding Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha starting as substitutes.

“We’ve got a good squad of players, that’s something that we’ve got to decide on,” Carrick stated. “There was always going to be players disappointed not to start. But finishing the game is even more important these days. They’ve got huge talent. It’s not personal at all.”

Kobbie Mainoo earned his first Premier League start of the campaign. Carrick praised the midfielder’s quality and experience in high-pressure situations, including international duty, expressing confidence that Mainoo would excel in the derby atmosphere.
