As the captain of the team I know what and what the team is lacking at the moment,if we can get this particular player now then we’ll definitely Chase Arsenal for the league title”, Reece James named the ONE particular player that the board needs to sign to salvage them from this current situation

The Athletic’s “Deal Sheet” offers a comprehensive look at the transfer activity potentially unfolding at Cobham this month. One statement that particularly amused us was their claim that “the intention is for winger Raheem Sterling, who has been completely excluded from the senior squad since the season kicked off, to depart permanently during this window.”
Well, obviously that’s the intention. But here’s the thing—it was also supposedly the intention during the previous transfer window. And the one before that. And the one before that too. Yet despite all these supposed intentions, no permanent departure has ever gotten anywhere close to actually happening. The idea that this has only recently become their official “plan” is absolutely hilarious. Getting the former Manchester City winger’s eye-watering £300,000 weekly wages off the books has been Chelsea’s top priority for years now.
Frankly, we don’t see any compelling reason why this might finally come to fruition now rather than in the summer or during any of the previous windows where it failed to materialize. The only realistic way a permanent deal gets done is if Sterling agrees to slash his wages dramatically, or if some club appears willing to meet his astronomical salary demands. We’d be genuinely shocked if either scenario unfolds, and there’s absolutely nothing suggesting it’s going to happen in the next 10 days before the deadline.
Moving on to other matters…
Chelsea’s primary attention this month appears directed toward bringing in defensive reinforcements, though according to some reports, that’s not the only area they’re targeting for improvement this year.
On the topic of creative attacking players dealing with fitness issues, Palmer has made his return to action and is back playing regularly, but he looks considerably off the pace, both physically and mentally. It’s genuinely the first time we’ve felt real concern about his condition since he exploded onto the scene and became a revelation at Chelsea.
