Chelsea Manager Enzo Maresca is Set to Sign £35Million Manchester United FLOP Player who Erig Ten Hag don’t want in his squad

According to reports in Brazil, Chelsea is currently in negotiations to acquire Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Omari Kellyman, Renato Veiga, Marc Guiu, and Tosin Adarabioyo are among the five players that Enzo Maresca’s team has already acquired this summer.

However, the club is still in the market to further strengthen its squad in anticipation of the upcoming Premier League season. A new reinforcement for central midfield is currently on the club’s shortlist.

Chelsea has already been in contact with Kia Joorabchian, Pereira’s agent, to discuss the possibility of the Brazil international moving to Stamford Bridge this summer, according to Globo.

Chelsea is prepared to pay Fulham up to £35 million for Pereira, according to the report, and Maresca has personally approved the club’s efforts to sign him.

Pereira, on the other hand, is rumored to have reached a verbal agreement with Fulham that would enable him to depart Craven Cottage if they receive an acceptable offer.

Monaco, which secured the second spot in Ligue 1 last season and will participate in the restructured Champions League this season, has also expressed interest in Joorabchian.

Nevertheless, Pereira’s preference is to remain in London and join Chelsea.

Chelsea has identified Pereira as a potential replacement for Conor Gallagher, who has only one year remaining on his contract and may depart Stamford Bridge before the final day of the summer transfer window.

Pereira, on the other hand, has been in the United States on vacation with his family. He has made three substitute appearances for Brazil at the Copa America this summer.

Fulham anticipates his arrival at their preseason camp in Portugal at the conclusion of the month.

Two years ago, Manchester United transferred Pereira to Fulham in exchange for £10 million. In 37 Premier League appearances last season, the Brazilian scored three goals and recorded seven assists.
