Two of Liverpool’s top players have left the club to join the Saudi Pro League! This is a massive blow to the squad! 😱

Liverpool is preparing to enter discussions with Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold to determine their futures at the club in the upcoming weeks.

Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke revealed on the Inside Track podcast that the contracts for these three key players are set to expire in the summer of 2025.

There is still uncertainty surrounding Salah’s future, and van Dijk has made some enigmatic comments that have not clarified his intentions.

Moreover, Real Madrid’s interest in Alexander-Arnold has further complicated the situation. The English defender is reportedly contemplating his long-term future, especially after reaching the Euros final with Gareth Southgate’s squad.

As of now, Salah is the only one who has returned to the AXA training center for pre-season training. Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold are expected to rejoin after their holiday breaks following the tournament.

The resolution of these talks, particularly regarding Trent’s worries about a future without Jurgen Klopp, remains uncertain.

Despite the uncertainties, there is a positive outlook concerning van Dijk’s future. It is anticipated that the 33-year-old defender will sign a new contract, which would ease any concerns about his potential departure.
