Man Utd ready to offer new contract to player just four games into the new season after excellent run of form ๐Ÿ”ด๐Ÿ”ดHe’s made a massive impact and the club are ready to give him a reward. Talk about unexpected.

Manchester United are preparing to offer a new contract to a player who has caught the eye of club officials with his impressive displays this season.

The team’s form took a positive turn recently, securing a 3-0 win over newly-promoted Southampton at St Maryโ€™s Stadium, following a challenging start to the season. Prior to this victory, United had managed only one win and suffered defeats to Brighton and Liverpool.

Amidst the mixed results, one player has been particularly consistent, standing out in four of Unitedโ€™s five matches. This has led the club to consider rewarding his efforts with a new contract. According to the Manchester Evening News, the club is looking to extend Amad Dialloโ€™s contract in the coming months.

Dialloโ€™s current contract is set to expire at the end of this season, but Manchester United have the option to extend it by an additional year, providing them time to finalize negotiations. Due to his strong performances, the club is keen to secure the 22-year-oldโ€™s long-term future.

Should a new contract not be finalized by the yearโ€™s end, United are expected to trigger the one-year extension to prevent Diallo from entering talks with other clubs when the January transfer window opens.

Negotiations are anticipated to be smooth, as Diallo has expressed a desire to stay at the club, potentially for the entirety of his career. When questioned about a potential extension during preseason, he said, โ€œYeah, why not? Iโ€™m really happy here. I feel like everyone appreciates me, and I bring good energy to the group. I could see myself staying here forever.โ€

Manchester United signed the Ivorian winger from Atalanta in October 2020 for a reported fee of up to ยฃ37 million. Since joining, Diallo has made 26 appearances, scoring four goals and contributing three assists.
