I know there’ll be a serious competition next season because the goalkeeper they’re about to sign is very good but I’m not going anywhere, I’ll fight for my position”: Manchester United’s goalkeeper Andre Onana says he won’t leave the club after Man United agreed £90m fee to sign World-class shot stopper. DO YOU STILL WANT US TO KEEP ONANA WHEN THIS GUY ARRIVES?

André Onana is reportedly set to turn down a lucrative offer from the Saudi Pro League to remain Manchester United’s first-choice goalkeeper. Despite enduring a challenging first season at Old Trafford, the 28-year-old shot-stopper is not actively seeking a move away from the club.

Manchester United are currently undergoing a squad overhaul under new head coach Ruben Amorim, who is focused on strengthening key areas. Although Onana’s position was not initially under threat, growing interest from Saudi Arabian clubs has raised questions about his future. Reports suggest that United could consider cashing in on him if a suitable offer arrives.

However, according to The Mirror, Onana has no intention of leaving unless the club explicitly decides to part ways with him. Having joined from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023 for £43.8 million, he still has three years left on his contract and remains committed to proving himself at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, speculation about United signing a new goalkeeper this summer has cast doubt over the future of second-choice keeper Altay Bayindir. Additionally, veteran goalkeeper Tom Heaton is expected to depart at the end of the season.

As the summer transfer window approaches, the uncertainty surrounding Onana’s future will likely intensify, with both the player and the club facing a crucial decision in the coming

months.
