“I was not SACKED i resigned as Chelsea Head Coach, i can’t take disrespect from the club and media” – Now Former Chelsea Breaks silent why he Resigned as Chelsea head Coach

Robert Sanchez seems to have revealed that multiple Chelsea staff members have departed following Enzo Maresca’s unexpected exit from the club.
Chelsea announced on New Year’s Day that Maresca had left his position after eighteen months at the helm, with Strasbourg boss Liam Rosenior quickly becoming the leading candidate to replace the Italian manager.
During his first season, Maresca successfully guided the Blues to Champions League qualification while also securing victories in both the Conference League and Club World Cup competitions.
Yet after a concerning drop in performance that prompted urgent discussions with Chelsea’s board, the club decided to part ways with Maresca to provide the team with “the best chance of getting the season back on track.”
While Chelsea’s official announcement regarding Maresca’s departure only explicitly mentioned the head coach leaving Stamford Bridge, Sanchez appears to have indicated that several members of the Italian’s coaching staff—including Willy Caballero—have also exited the club.
The goalkeeper shared his thoughts on Instagram, writing: “Thank you for everything Enzo, Mickey, Willy, Dani, Marcos and Robi. Very grateful for the trust and the memories we shared, those will live with me forever.
“Wishing you all the best for the future, will miss you all.”
Chelsea are anticipated to act quickly in appointing Maresca’s successor.
While Rosenior remains the frontrunner to take charge, Standard Sport understands the club is also considering a handful of other potential candidates.
For now, Chelsea’s Under-21s manager Calum McFarlane will conduct the pre-match press conference before this weekend’s fixture against Manchester City.
McFarlane is then expected to oversee the Blues at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, although the club has yet to officially announce their interim coaching arrangements.
