FIFA has just announced VERY SAD NEWS for the Officials and Referees of the match between Chelsea and Liverpool and this have cost them thier Job
Ryan Gravenberch’s ankle ligament damage has been verified by Jurgen Klopp, who was incensed with the way the referees handled Liverpool’s victory against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final.
After the game went into extra time, Virgil van Dijk scored a very late goal 118 minutes into it to give the Reds a 1-0 victory.
But in the first half, Gravenberch suffered when he was taken off the pitch by a stretcher following a careless challenge by Moises Caicedo that resulted in him putting his studs on the ankle of the Dutch midfield player.
The Chelsea player received no punishment, but he was made to celebrate with his teammates while using crutches and a protective boot following the game.
When asked about the issue, Klopp finally stated that there is ligament damage but that nothing is broken. However, he started by talking about the refereeing performance.
“The referee did not have the level of the game,” Klopp said to Sky Sports, referring to two teams that were engaged in intense fighting.
“I apologise; that’s the way it is. I know you’ll fabricate a tale, but everyone witnessed that.”
Liverpool vs. Chelsea in the Carabao Cup Final
“There was no foul at all!” He didn’t even give a foul whistle! The fourth official then tells me that they are unable to provide a card. Oh, that’s a wise concept!
I’m not sure if this is too much, too fast, or something else for these lads, but it seemed clear to me what was going on. We witnessed a Chelsea player stamping his ankle; that’s all you need for a card.
“Hopefully, it won’t be too bad. The X-ray showed that it’s not broken, but the ligaments have some damage, so that’s the situation.” Although everything else is excellent, this is all terrible.
The Liverpool team now has a longer list of ailments, and Klopp believes he may find it difficult to field a team when they play Southampton in the FA Cup on Wednesday. Gravenberch is the latest addition to this list.
As of right now, we don’t have a team for Wednesday. He remarked, “The guys who came on might be able to play again; the others will receive treatment on Monday.”
Although I adore this country, the calendar is not set up for significant victory. We will be forced to pay a price, but if we battle for everything, we will eventually find out.
