Pochettino has announced VERY SAD News for Chelsea Defender Malo Gusto this evening after Thier match with Burnley this evening

Malo Gusto was forced off with a possible hamstring injury during Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with 10-man Burnley on Saturday.

Chelsea endured yet another frustrating day at Stamford Bridge, with the Clarets twice denying them victory.

Cole Palmer scored the scoring from the penalty spot shortly before halftime, when Lorenz Assignon was sent off for fouling Mykhailo Mudryk in the box.

Josh Cullen astonishingly equalised only minutes after the break, before Palmer thought to have won it late on, only for Dara O’Shea to score in the 81st minute.

Given that Burnley’s relegation is almost certain, having won only four games this season, a home draw is an exceedingly dismal result for the Blues, placing the club 11th in the table.

To make matters worse for Mauricio Pochettino, Gusto walked off the pitch in the 87th minute with a possible hamstring injury, and Alfie Gilchrist replaced him.

The right-back has been one of Chelsea’s top players this season, filling in for captain Reece James, who has been sidelined for virtually the whole season due to injury.

The Blues have been plagued by injury troubles all season, with ten other players currently in the treatment room, including Romeo Lavia and Wesley Fofana, who will be out for the remainder of the season.

This recent terrible performance and defeat will further raise the pressure on Pochettino, who has been heavily criticised by Chelsea fans.

‘We are a team that creates too many chances but does not score all of them,’ the manager explained.

‘We did not demonstrate the capacity, energy, or hunger required to compete in the Premier League. This is why I’m so frustrated and dissatisfied. It’s more concentrated in your heart and head than in your legs.
