Manchester United FLOP has refused to sign a Contract that will see his weekly wages deducted and Sir Jim Ratcliffe has sent him packing out of the club at the end of the season

At the conclusion of his contract this summer, Manchester United is ready to let Raphael Varane depart the team for free.
With a one-year option that, if exercised, would prolong Varane’s spell with the team until the summer of 2025, the Red Devils enticed the former Real Madrid star to Old Trafford in 2021. Since then, however, rumors have surfaced suggesting that United’s upper management isn’t all that interested in turning on the additional year.
Being one among United’s biggest earners, Varane’s departure would free up a significant portion of pay. According to ESPN, forward Anthony Martial is anticipated to have the same outcome as his fellow Frenchman and be permitted to quit the team.
At United, there is a strong focus on paying down the salary of people in charge in order to free up money for possible new hires. Varane was reportedly dissatisfied with the instability at Old Trafford before this year, so it’s unknown how much this will damage him not wanting to remain longer.
The Manchester Evening News reported in January that Varane felt compelled to leave the team because United had made no secret of their intention to attempt to recruit the World Cup champion to a new contract that would have drastically lower pay.
Gary Neville, a veteran of United, expressed his thoughts clearly on New Year’s Eve about the rumors that the team was attempting to retain Varane at all. He posted on social media, saying, “I’m afraid if United are trying to extend [Victor] Lindelof and Varane (on lower terms).”
“We need to make as many new starts as we can. These two are by no means poor players, but the club has to make it clear to everyone, both within and outside the building, that the standards of the last few years will not be tolerated.”

This summer, Erik ten Hag will probably be in charge of many significant departures.
Not only Varane, a well-known player, is leaving United. Christian Eriksen will be free to go for a nominal sum, and Lindelof will probably leave at the conclusion of the season as well.
In 2025, the contracts of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Scott McTominay, and Harry Maguire expire. Conversely, time is of the essence for United to attempt to make a profit from any one of the previously named three before they are allowed to go at no further cost.
