“Him and Erik ten Hag planned it all along. He didn’t just left. That’s why he haven’t joined any club yet. Now he is back to help the club” – David de Gea turns down shock Shocking move to a Premier League Club return as he finally makes a shocking move back to the club. Even the players are shocked but Ten Hag wasn’t. No one saw this move coming 😳😳 Welcome back 😳🥹❤️

A recent report highlights that David de Gea declined an offer from a Premier League club during the January transfer window. The Spanish goalkeeper, who parted ways with Manchester United last summer after a notable 12-year stint, is still a free agent. Although there has been talk of a possible move to Saudi Arabia, De Gea has not finalized any agreement in the region.

Nottingham Forest showed interest in signing the experienced goalkeeper, hoping to bring him on for the remainder of the season. However, the 33-year-old turned down their short-term proposal, opting to wait for a more suitable opportunity.

After De Gea’s refusal, Nottingham Forest continued their search for a reliable goalkeeper, considering Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale, who had lost his starting spot to David Raya. Eventually, Forest secured Matz Sels from Strasbourg on the transfer deadline day for £5.1 million, signing him to a three-and-a-half-year contract.

With Sels on board, Nottingham Forest’s goalkeeper lineup now includes Matt Turner, Wayne Hennessey, and Odysseas Vlachodimos. De Gea’s decision to decline Forest’s offer leaves him available on the market for a new club. Even though the transfer window has closed, De Gea can still join any team as a free agent.

During his impressive career at Manchester United, De Gea made 545 appearances in all competitions, playing a key role in the club’s successes. He also earned 45 caps for Spain, demonstrating his high level of skill and experience. De Gea’s extensive career achievements make him an appealing option for clubs in need of an experienced goalkeeper.

As De Gea continues to search for a new club, his significant experience and consistent high-level performances ensure he remains a sought-after player. His decision to reject Nottingham Forest’s offer indicates a careful consideration of his future moves, aiming for an opportunity that better fits his career goals and personal aspirations.
