At the 3-1 win over RB Leipzig in the Champions League, Erling Haaland missed another chance.

Last year’s winners had to score two late goals in Germany to keep their perfect start in Group G.

City manager Guardiola may be a little worried about Haaland, though, because he scores a lot of goals.

This is the longest stretch of games in which the Norwegian great has not scored in the Champions League.

Haaland has an amazing record in Europe, with 35 goals in 32 games. This stretch without a goal is a slump by his standards.

Already, at age 23, he is tied for 17th all-time in goals scored in the Champions League, behind only Wayne Rooney and Samuel Eto’o.

In 2022–23, he scored 52 goals for City, which helped them win a remarkable treble.

But when Haaland isn’t scoring, he doesn’t do much to help Guardiola’s team.

In the win over Leipzig, the scorer only touched the ball 25 times.

Haaland still has the most goals in the Premier League this season, with eight in seven games. However, the forwards has missed a lot of great chances.

Guardiola said there is no problem with Haaland’s goal scoring this season when asked about it.
