I think my time at the club is up now Newcastle and Bayern Munich wants to sign me it’s high time I left – Angry Manchester City FLOP wants to terminate his contract due to lack of playing time.

What Pep Guardiola reportedly addressed the Manchester City management in private on Kalvin Phillips. It appears like Kalvin Phillips’ time at Manchester City is coming to an end due to interest from West Ham United and Newcastle United.

Since arriving at Manchester City from Leeds United in the summer of 2022, Kalvin Phillips has had trouble making an impression.

This week, City boss Pep Guardiola suggested Phillips could depart during the January transfer window if he so desired.

Midfielder Kalvin Phillips of Manchester City is the subject of a decision by Pep Guardiola.
And now, according to a source in The Daily Star, Guardiola has secretly discussed the 27-year-old with his City managers.

According to The Daily Star, Phillips is wanted by Newcastle United, West Ham United, and Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.

According to the article, Guardiola “privately” instructed the City hierarchy to permit Phillips to “depart in the New Year.”

In the January transfer window, City, who won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, and the FA Cup last year, are prepared to let Phillips go on loan.

There are two restrictions, though.

The team that signs Phillips will be obligated to pay the entire £150,000 weekly salary of the England international midfielder.

In July, they would also need to give him a long-term contract.

Kalvin Phillips will not be missed by Manchester City.
Although Manchester City will likely feel that the £42 million they paid to Leeds United for the 27-year-old was a waste of money, I don’t think they will miss Kalvin Phillips if he departs in January.

Phillips was unable to join the team, even when Rodri was suspended prior to the break for international play.

And let’s not overlook the fact that Kevin De Bruyne has also been out injured for some weeks.

Pep Guardiola, the manager of the City, has still not changed his methodology to incorporate Phillips into his schemes.

It appears that Phillips is simply not good enough for Guardiola’s club.
