Premier League Club has been deducted with 12 points this afternoon After breaching Financial Play Rules and the will be relegated.

Everton faces a huge points deduction due to being fined under financial fair play. Everton are said to be facing a huge points deduction as they face an investigation into alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play.

According to the Telegraph, the Premier League has recommended slapping the Toffees with a hefty fine, with 12 points retained as the current recommended measure against the club.

The report says Everton made a financial loss of £371.8m over a three-year period, far exceeding the £105m allowed under Premier League rules.

Everton could also face other sanctions such as a transfer ban, according to the Telegraph, so all in all, the Merseysiders look pretty bleak if it turns out they are guilty of major misconduct .

A 12-point suspension would see Sean Dyche’s side almost certainly relegated, as they would finish bottom of the Premier League table with a five-point deduction if they qualify now.

Everton narrowly escaped relegation last season, so they could actually get by without these off-field problems, which will make life even harder for them in the coming weeks and months next.
