Former Chelsea FLOP Manager Graham Potter has Rejected an Offer to Manage of if the biggest teams in the World

Potter was fired from his five-year contract at Stamford Bridge in September 2022 after winning just seven of his 22 Premier League games as manager. Potter had been brought in to replace Thomas Tuchel.

The 48-year-old has not yet returned to management, but she was considered for the Sweden position after Janne Andersson, the current coach, resigned last week due to her inability to qualify for the European Championship in the summer.

Potter was one of the names being considered, according to information disclosed by Swedish FA secretary general Andrea Mollerberg last month.

However, according to Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet, he declined the opportunity to be considered for the position.

According to reports, Potter stated that he would love to play club football again.

Potter gained notoriety as Ostersunds’ manager in Sweden between 2011 and 2018. He left Swansea City after a year to join Brighton as Chris Hughton’s replacement.

The previous manager of the Blues has also been associated with Manchester United prior to Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s impending minority takeover, in which he and his group are anticipated to assume command of all sports-related affairs.

Potter’s admirers, including Ratcliffe and Sir David Brailsford, are believed to have wanted him at Nice.

Potter was seen as Erik ten Hag’s backup should the new management decide to make changes after taking over at Old Trafford.

After losing nine of their first-round matches throughout all competitions this season, Ten Hag’s status at Old Trafford has come under fire.

Victories over Fulham and Luton relieved some of the Dutchman’s strain before the international break, even if United stated in early November that they are not planning to name possible managers to take over for the manager.
