If current manager Eddie Howe leaves Newcastle United to join the England national team at any point in the near future, Newcastle United may look to Jose Mourinho, the manager of Roma.

Italy is reportedly considering Mourinho as a potential manager for Newcastle, while Howe is still widely seen as Gareth Southgate’s successor.

Mourinho has a stellar record in the Premier League, having led Chelsea to three titles in his two stints there.

But more recently, he had difficulties during his stints as Tottenham’s and Manchester United’s manager.
