“I can’t continue to hand them big salaries and they can’t perform the way they are supposed to so reducing Thier salary will make them serious and any player who is not ok with other should leave this January” Manchester City owner has reduced this £180,000-a-week Man City player wage

According to a pundit, £180,000 a week Man City’s player just keeps making errors.
Manuel Akanji, according to Craig Burley, is becoming increasingly error-prone for Manchester City this season.

After the Sky Blues won 3-2 against RB Leipzig, the pundit told ESPN FC that Akanji’s form was a concern.

The Manchester City defender was at blame for Lois Openda’s opener, as he allowed himself to be turned far too easily before the latter placed the ball past Stefan Ortega.

Craig Burley expresses “concern” over Manuel Akanji’s performance this season.
Pep Guardiola praised the Swiss international’s recent performances, calling him “unbelievable” against Chelsea and Liverpool.

The Spaniard also expressed gratitude to Txiki Begiristain for bringing the £180,000-a-week (Sport Rac) player to the Etihad Stadium last summer.

However, when Manuel Akanji scored twice in the first half for Manchester City against RB Leipzig, Craig Burley stated that his form has been troubling this season.

For that [first game vs RB Leipzig], Akanji. You go back to Akanji in Dortmund every week, error, mistake, mistake.”

“He seemed to have drummed that out of him at Man City but it just seems to be creeping back in a little bit and that’s a concern” , that’s what he told ESPN FC.

Manuel Akanji is not the only one who has made mistakes.
While Manuel Akanji was obviously terrible against RB Leipzig, as Craig Burley stated, we believe that practically every member of the club’s defensive roster has had off days this season.

In what was a dismal first half of football from Ruben Dias, for example, his approach to holding Lois Openda at bay for his second goal of the night was simply too rash.

Similarly, in Manchester City’s 4-4 draw with Chelsea, the Portuguese centre-half perhaps had his worst night in a Manchester City shirt.

Kyle Walker and Josko Gvardiol were among those who failed to shine against the West Londoners.

While Nathan Ake was battling Pedro Neto in City’s 2-1 loss to Wolves.

The lone defender who has yet to make a mistake this season is John Stones, however it should be noted that he has been primarily out due to injury.

However, given the strength of Manchester City’s defence and Pep Guardiola’s unwavering quest of perfection, normal service at the back will resume sooner rather than later.
