Nkunku speaks out on the significance of his first Chelsea start for him.
Chelsea defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, marking Christopher Nkunku’s debut for the team.
The Frenchman was substituted off by Mauricio Pochettino after playing for seventy minutes.
Nkunku, who missed a lot of games at the beginning of the season, was happy with his cameo. It was a really excellent cameo.
The forward commented after the game, “It was a big fight and we played a good game.”
Although I believe we could have scored more goals, the three points are what matter most.
“Meaning a lot to me personally was [making his first start]. It has been six months since I first started playing a game, which makes me extremely happy. After the game, I feel well and, more importantly, I don’t have any problems, so we’re focusing on becoming better.
“I believe that in order to get better, we must give our all in every practice and game. Our team is young, but it is very talented, and we will need to work together to grow and succeed as a unit.
