24-year-old who hasn’t played this season has been told by Pochettino he can leave Chelsea this month and Chelsea is ready to terminate his contract this season
Trevoh Chalobah has always been thought to be leaving Chelsea this month. Now, Mauricio Pochettino has told the back that he can leave before the end of the January transfer window.
According to Football Insider, Chalobah is not in the plans of the Chelsea manager. The London club also sees the 24-year-old as a saleable asset who could help their Financial Fair Play situation if he were to be sold this month.
This season, the center-back has been out with an injury, but recently, the Chelsea player hinted that he is close to being fully healthy again, which will help his chances of finding a club.
No one knows who Chalobah will sign with, but teams have shown interest. According to Alfredo Pedulla, AC Milan and Napoli have both made offers for the defender.
Nearer to home, Crystal Palace wants to sign the Chelsea star but hasn’t made an official offer for the centre back yet.
To improve his game, Chalobah needs to leave Stamford Bridge this month. But teams haven’t come calling for the defender yet, so it’s still too early to tell.
