When Jadon Sancho rejoins Manchester United this summer, the team will want to make the most of his arrival.
The winger, who has made just three Premier League appearances this season, was banished from the first squad following a well reported feud with Erik ten Hag. He is currently spending the second half of the 2023–2024 season at his previous club, Borussia Dortmund.
You wouldn’t expect too much to change when he returns to Old Trafford in June, considering that the two never really put their differences behind them before his January loan departure.
Sancho is stuck at Old Trafford.
That appears to be the prevailing opinion among those in higher positions at United as well, as Football Insider reports that Sancho will be offloaded permanently when the window opens. This is presuming that a buyer is willing to pay his asking price, which is unlikely to be the £73 million they paid for him in 2021.
In his nine games this season, Sancho, 23, has yet to score for either the Reds or Dortmund; however, in his first two games back in the black and yellow, he did record two Bundesliga assists.
