‘He is the Worst player on the pitch couldn’t even complete a pass’: United loanee leaves fans ‘disappointed’ with yet another ‘poor performance’ in defeat

Jadon Sancho’s loan with Borussia Dortmund is not going as well as he had hoped after leaving Manchester United last month.

The 23-year-old left Old Trafford in January to rejoin his former club until the end of the season, following a public disagreement with Erik ten Hag that saw him barred from all first-team activity and facilities.

Sancho had only three Premier League appearances before moving to Germany. His last appearance in red occurred on August 26 against Nottingham Forest, after which he was dropped for the subsequent trip to face Arsenal, resulting in a split with his management.

Dortmund fans were overjoyed with the signing of their former star, whose career-best form has come in the black and yellow of the Bundesliga club; yet, he has failed to recreate anything near the performances he put in during his first stint.

After recording an assist against Darmstadt on his second appearance and another against FC Koln the following week, the winger made no additional goal contributions in the five games that followed.

Sancho comes under criticism after a lacklustre shift.
He came under fire for his lacklustre performance on Saturday as the fourth-placed side lost 3-2 to Hoffenheim, with German source Der Westen writing: “BVB was overjoyed when Jadon Sancho was brought back during the past winter transfer window. The prodigal son has finally returned.

“He sent the spectators into euphoria. A few weeks later, there is no indication of it. Against TSG Hoffenheim (2:3), fans thought that the 23-year-old would eventually score his first goal.

“But they were disappointed yet again. The BVB star had another awful game against Hoffenheim and was perhaps the weakest player on the pitch.”
