FIFA has just announced VERY SAD NEWS for the Officials and Referees of the match between Nothingham Forest vs Manchester United and this have cost them thier Job

The hero of Nottingham Forest, Morgan Gibbs-White, took aim at Manchester United’s winning goal by using an example from Liverpool against Chelsea.

Erik ten Hag’s team headed to the City Ground on Wednesday night in an attempt to defeat Forest and advance to the FA Cup quarterfinals.

The game was close and appeared to be going into extra time, but in the 89th minute, Brazilian sensation Casemiro headed home a free kick from Bruno Fernandes to ensure that United advanced to the next round.

Raphael Varane appeared to be standing offside and to be blocking a Forest defender, therefore there was a lengthy VAR check conducted before the goal was officially declared.

Eventually, the goal stood, and United completed a much needed 1-0 triumph.

Gibbs-White vented his annoyance at the goal on social media following the game.

The Forest player shared a picture again that contrasted Liverpool’s goal that was disallowed in the Carabao Cup final against United’s winning goal.

Replays revealed that midfielder Wataru Endo, who was offside when the ball was played, stopped Chelsea player Levi Colwill, resulting in the Reds captain Virgil van Dijk’s goal being disallowed for offside.

The only thing that separated the United goal from this one was that Varane appeared to be standing further in the middle of the box when the ball came at the near post. This could indicate that the defender he stopped would not have reached the ball before Casemiro anyhow.

Since then, Gibbs-White’s post has been removed.

Nuno Espirito Santo, the Forest manager, stated following the game: “I’m not sure about it.” The pictures were not very clear to me. The players were informed that there may have been an offside due to a block. They examined it. However, there have been so many problems with VAR and referees over this time that let’s try to put it behind us and go on.

“After all of our effort, it is frustrating to lose in this manner in the last minute of the game. The biggest disappointment and source of irritation is that we were unable to enjoy today with our fans, who were so loud and encouraging. We must give them our gratitude.

It is a pleasure to play here, he continued. We have to continue forward since we will be playing here again in two days.

The quarterfinal matchup between United and Liverpool is scheduled for next month.
