Players and managers have rallied to Manchester City Star Jack Grealish’s side in support after heartbreaking news is confirmed this evening 😢

On Tuesday night, when the Manchester City winger hobbled off the Kenilworth Road grass, Jack Grealish had a pained expression on his face.

After being given a unique chance to start in Man City’s 6-2 FA Cup victory over Luton Town, the England international was forced off the pitch before the half due to a new injury.

Grealish watched Man City cruise to an incredible victory without him, clearly moved as he took his place on the bench and was comforted by teammates.

Get the most recent information about Grealish’s injuries and his potential return date for the Cityzens here.

Replays indicate that Grealish pulled up at Kenilworth Road shortly after the half-hour mark, maybe citing a strained muscle following a pass out on his right side. The 28-year-old didn’t last long before realising he couldn’t play any longer, and Jeremy Doku took his place just before halftime.

Grealish’s groyne injury was confirmed by Pep Guardiola following the game, saying, “I didn’t speak to doctors but I think he complained a bit about the groyne.” Perhaps a little similar. Despite feeling great, he regrettably sustained another injury early in the game.”

After missing several weeks due to an injury sustained during Man City’s Champions League first leg against Copenhagen in mid-March, Grealish has only returned to the sidelines and may need to spend more time in the recovery room.

When will Jack Grealish make his injury comeback?
Guardiola is left expecting the worse since the recuperation timeline for Grealish is unlikely to be established until Man City’s medical team can do the necessary tests.

Guardiola will be praying for Grealish’s speedy recovery because Man City has some major games coming up, including matches against Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal before the end of March.
