FIFA has just provided the Officials and Referees of the match between Liverpool and Manchester United with some very unfortunate news, and as a result, they have lost their jobs. This is a breaking news story
The reason Bruno Fernandes escaped a red card in the Manchester United vs. Liverpool game has come to light.
Reports state that during the FA Cup match, Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, just missed getting sent off for a challenge on Dominik Szoboszlai.
The reason behind Lee Dixon’s belief that Bruno Fernandes avoided receiving a second yellow card during the Manchester United vs. Liverpool match has been revealed.
Fernandes was booked early in the game, but he was spared another caution for a second-half tackle on Dominik Szoboszlai.
Dixon, who co-commented the game and acknowledged Fernandes’ fortunate escape from a yellow card, disagreed that it should have resulted in a straight red.
He emphasised that although VAR might investigate such occurrences on the field, it didn’t step in in this particular case.
Dixon went on to say that Fernandes would have definitely received a yellow card if the same incident had happened anywhere else on the pitch and he hadn’t previously been booked.
He emphasised his opinion that if a challenge of such nature had occurred on the halfway line, the referee would have issued a warning.
