Exposed to the public! This is the shocking truth behind Anthony Taylor’s game-changing calls during the match between Manchester United and Liverpool! “You are not going to believe what actually took place!” This is definitely not happening please 😳🙀

Anthony Taylor has been selected as the match referee, joined by assistant referees Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, with John Brooks as the video assistant referee, supported by Richard West.

This choice has drawn attention and raised concerns due to Taylor’s past affiliations with both Manchester United and Liverpool. Hailing from Greater Manchester, Liverpool supporters fear potential bias in his refereeing decisions.

It’s important to highlight that Taylor is a fan of Altrincham, a National League team, rather than either Manchester club. Nonetheless, his handling of matches involving Liverpool and United has been contentious.

In games officiated by Taylor, United dropped five points over two matches, while Liverpool struggled, winning just once out of four games.

Jurgen Klopp notably criticized Taylor’s decision to leave out Ibrahima Konate from a match against Arsenal, which Liverpool lost 3-1.

Taylor has previously officiated two Premier League matches between United and Liverpool, overseeing a goalless draw at Anfield in 2016 and Liverpool’s 5-0 victory at Old Trafford in 2021, where Paul Pogba was sent off.

Despite officiating over 350 Premier League games since his debut in February 2010, Taylor remains a loyal supporter of Altrincham, holding a season ticket.

However, according to PGMOL rules, referees are prohibited from officiating matches involving teams they support or games that could affect their team’s fortunes.
