Former Chelsea Manager Graham Potter has rejected offer from Huge European Club as odds slashed on him becoming next Premier League manager

According to reports from Sky Sports News, Potter has declined the opportunity to take on the role of the next Ajax manager. Despite engaging in discussions with the club, Potter, the former Chelsea and Brighton manager, is believed to have chosen not to pursue the position.
The 48-year-old has been without a managerial role since his dismissal from Chelsea in April 2023. In December, it was suggested by Sky Sports that Potter could be a prominent candidate on Ineos’ shortlist for managerial replacements if they were to part ways with Erik ten Hag.
According to Bet365, Potter is currently the frontrunner at 3/1 to assume the managerial position at United. England’s national team manager, Gareth Southgate, follows closely at 4/1, while Roberto De Zerbi of Brighton, Ruben Amorim of Sporting, and Thomas Frank of Brentford are all listed at 8/1.
Dan Ashworth, who is anticipated to become United’s sporting director, previously appointed Potter at Brighton, where he earned acclaim for his tactical approach. During his final season at Brighton, Potter’s team achieved a top-half finish in the Premier League standings.
Nevertheless, Ten Hag, ahead of the recent 2-2 draw against Liverpool, asserted his expectation to remain at United for the upcoming season.
