Officially, Victor Osimhen Has Stated That He Will Be Joining Chelsea this January on one Condition.

One of Chelsea’s major summer goals is to buy a prolific striker, and as we have continuously reported, Victor Osimhen has long been their first choice.

The Napoli player led his side to their first league championship since 1991 with an incredible 26 goals in 32 Serie A games last season. With 14 goals in 22 league games this season, he has maintained that form.

Several of the biggest clubs in Europe have taken notice of this. It is believed that Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain will compete for Osimhen’s signing.

He won’t be an inexpensive acquisition, either, as Napoli is fully seeking the release clause in his contract, which is worth almost £113 million.

Chelsea will probably have to sell a number of players before they can approve any more high-profile acquisitions, which is a concern.

Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja, and other homegrown players are on for sale, while Conor Gallagher, a target for Tottenham, may also leave Stamford Bridge.

Even yet, £113 million is still a hefty amount to pay for Osimhen, and according to a recent source, Chelsea is considering methods to reduce the asking price.

Chelsea is going to give Osimhen cash and two players.
Italian writer Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Chelsea has made an offer for Osimhen that includes money as well as Romelu Lukaku, who is presently playing well on loan at Roma, and one “unnamed young talent.”

The Blues have now “initiated contact” with Napoli, letting them know that they are prepared to trade the Nigerian international for the two players as well as between €80 and €90 million.

Although Napoli has not yet responded to Chelsea’s “offer,” they most likely will hold off until Osimhen’s other suitor, PSG, submits a serious offer as well.

TEAMtalk has learned from sources that Osimhen “loves” Chelsea after growing up idolizing the great African striker Didier Drogba at Stamford Bridge.

We are aware that Chelsea is prepared to let go of a few players in order to complete a deal, and they will do all effort to sign Osimhen this summer.

It is unclear whether Napoli would take Lukaku, a “unnamed young talent,” and €90 million (about £77.3 million) in exchange for Osimhen.

Though Giovanni Manna, the Italian club’s potential sports director, is a big fan of Lukaku and would want to bring him to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Di Marzio does point this out.
