Transfer News

Former Manchester United Goalkeeper and David De Gea world have start training with former team this week ahead of stunning football return!

After Manchester United’s loss to Crystal Palace, Mark Goldbridge called one of the club’s recent signings “one of the most disastrous transfers” in the team’s lengthy history.

Monday night’s 4-0 thrashing of United by Palace at Selhurst Park marked a new low for the team.

Michael Olise, a rumored transfer target for United, scored twice to lead Palace to a convincing win. Tyrick Mitchell and Jean-Philippe Mateta also scored for Oliver Glasner’s Eagles.

Goldbridge, a United supporter and YouTuber, became enraged during the game when the Red Devils’ goal was disallowed due to a foul on Dean Henderson.

During a lengthy X-rated tirade on his live feed, he screamed, “That’s no f****** foul, no way that’s a foul.”

In addition to being possibly at fault for Mateta’s goal, which went by him at his near post, Onana let Olise’s second goal beat him in the center of the goal.

Additionally, he planted his feet to deny Palace attacker Odsonne Edouard a late opportunity, which he struck the crossbar.

After the full-time whistle, Goldbridge yelled at Onana.

One of the most disastrous trades in our history was [David] De Gea for Onana. He wrote, “All those going in on De Gea had no idea what we had.”

Last summer, United let De Gea depart the team on a free transfer, and they replaced him with Onana from Inter Milan for a fee of ยฃ47.2 million.

Before being let go by United, De Gea had won the Golden Glove in the 2022โ€“2023 Premier League season.

Though he hasn’t found a new team yet, he has hinted at playing again in recent weeks and has been connected to teams in his home country of Spain, the MLS, and the Saudi Premier League.
