This coming week, just in time for the Premier League season’s conclusion, the outcome of Everton’s appeal against their second punishment should be revealed, following the dismissal of Nottingham Forest’s appeal over points deduction.

When news of Everton and Nottingham Forest’s violations of the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) surfaced, many football fans Googled other inquiries, including “What about Manchester City’s case?”

Furthermore, other sources indicate that a decision could not come for at least a year.

What accusations total do Man City have against them?

• Fourteen times between 2009 and 2018—there was an inaccurate lack of information on player and manager payments.

• Five instances of noncompliance with Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations under UEFA from 2013–14 to 2017–18.

These violations are not all related to money problems. 35 of them have to do with the club’s purported refusal to assist the Premier League’s probe between February 2023 and 2018, when it began.

Leaked documents obtained by German tabloid Der Spiegel brought attention to the 2009 financial accusations. City has maintained that these stolen emails were obtained through illicit means.
