Man UTD manager Erig Ten Hag broke down in tears after Key Manchester United player who is undropable for Manchester United has been injured in training this afternoon

Just a few days after making his first Premier League start since October in the 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace, summer signing Mount (who formerly played for Chelsea) has experienced another setback.

Mount sustained an injury during practice on Thursday, and United manager Ten Hag has stated that the 25-year-old will not participate in their upcoming game.

Despite the fact that his ailment is not believed to be significant, the England international should be ready to play against Brighton in the season’s last match.

The Dutchman stated to the club’s internal media team: “It’s a small matter. He is therefore undoubtedly not out for the season. He’ll be back in a few days, I believe.

“I believe he can make it to Brighton, but maybe Newcastle [next Wednesday] is too short.”

Another setback in Luke Shaw’s recuperation from a hamstring injury has occurred, but there is still optimism that he will be well enough to play in the FA Cup final on May 25.

However, there is some good news for United: Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay, and Bruno Fernandes might all be back for the match at Old Trafford.

In his news conference prior to the game, Ten Hag stated: “Rashy exercised this morning; we’ll have to see how he bounced back from this.

“However, I believe it looks quite well, and I hope he can make it to the next workout tomorrow before determining if he can make it on Sunday.”

Prior to saying, “There are certain players returning since Bruno and Scott McTominay were on the field.”

At the screening of his film 99, David Beckham speaks exclusively with talkSPORT Drive about all things Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, England, and Jude Bellingham.
Lisandro Martinez, meantime, begged Ten Hag to play against Arsenal this week even though he isn’t quite able to recover from a calf problem.

Even still, the former Ajax boss has maintained that the World Cup champion is still not prepared to play again.

“[Martinez] is anxious to participate; the team really missed him,” he said.

“Despite having three injuries during the season, he is practically injury-free and nearing the finish of the recovery process. However, he must resume team training and games in order to compete.

“I promise never to bet with a player. It concerns them and their futures.

“I have to be accountable for it because it is the most significant aspect of their careers. The club is the most crucial factor, but player health and safety are also very vital.”
