Former Liverpool player and England superstar Steven Gerard will start training with former team this week ahead of stunning football return! Welcome back ππ, How did he managed to get this move π±π

Steven Gerrard is planning to bring one of Jurgen Klopp’s key staff members from Liverpool to his team, Al Ettifaq.
Last year, Gerrard, a former Liverpool star, took on the role of manager for the Saudi Professional League team Al Ettifaq. During the summer transfer window, he acquired ex-Liverpool midfielders Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum.
With another summer transfer window approaching, Gerrard is eyeing his former club for potential recruits again.
Recently, it was disclosed that Liverpoolβs goalkeeping coach, John Achterberg, will be leaving the club at the end of the current season.
Achterberg will join Klopp, Pep Lijnders, and Peter Krawietz in departing from Anfield this summer.
Prior to Liverpoolβs last Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Klopp confirmed Achterberg’s move to Al Ettifaq, stating:
βHeβs joining Stevie (in Saudi Arabia). Best of luck to him! Jack Robinson is also departing.β
Klopp also announced the exit of his head of fitness and conditioning, Andreas Kornmayer, adding: βAndreas Kornmayer will also be leaving. They all have bright futures ahead.β
Throughout his time at Liverpool, Achterbergβs role expanded significantly, making him one of Kloppβs valued team members. In 2015, Klopp commended Achterberg, saying:
βIβm happy with our goalkeepers and have great faith in John Achterberg because he does an excellent job here. Heβs one of the hardest-working individuals I know; he puts in 25 hours of work each day.β
Klopp further remarked: βItβs great to collaborate with these guys, and everything is in order. No player is without flaws, which is part of the game and its many situations, but you need the right skills and the desire to improve, and thatβs what we have here.β
