Based on the information provided by Fabrizio Romano, it has been reported that Johan Bakayoko and Liverpool has reached a decision to join Liverpool FC during the summer season. Johan Bakayoko feels like staying in PSV to play as a winger will affect his career as he feels like he deserves to play top European clubs. In recent interview he said the move to Liverpool might be possible.😁😍

Liverpool are reportedly eyeing Johan Bakayoko as a potential addition for the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to Belgian football journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who shared the information on X (formerly Twitter), the Reds have been monitoring the PSV talent since March 2023.

The 21-year-old has caught the attention of both the incoming manager, Arne Slot, and the chief scout, Barry Hunter.

Bakayoko has delivered an impressive performance this season in the Dutch Eredivisie, with 28 goal contributions in 48 matches across all competitions.

Primarily operating as a right winger, Bakayoko is viewed as a prospective long-term successor to Mo Salah, frequently cutting inside to the penalty area in a manner reminiscent of Salah.

With Salah anticipated to remain at Anfield for at least another season, Bakayoko could be seen as a strategic signing for the future, either when Salah’s contract concludes in 2025 or if it gets extended.

At just 21, Bakayoko might be persuaded by the prospect of becoming Liverpool’s main option on the right wing in the coming years.
