Liverpool Goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has informed the club management that he will be leaving this summer after having a wonderful season with Liverpool. “My time at the Club is over, lets give room for younger talents.

With Jurgen Klopp leaving and Arne Slot stepping in, Liverpool is preparing for significant changes this summer.

Several players, such as Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara, are exiting the club as their contracts end and have already said their goodbyes.

The team is expected to bring in new players to support the new manager for the upcoming season. One priority might be acquiring a second-choice goalkeeper.

Reports from Football Insider indicate that Scottish Premiership champions Celtic are interested in Liverpool’s Caoimhin Kelleher, with Joe Hart set to retire after the Scottish Cup final.

Kelleher, who played 26 matches for Liverpool this season due to Alisson’s injuries, has shown reliability in cup games and during Alisson’s absences.

Premier League clubs are also eyeing the Irish goalkeeper. Although Liverpool is hesitant to let him go, Kelleher might pursue regular first-team opportunities elsewhere.

With third-choice goalkeeper Adrian also departing, Liverpool will need to find a new goalkeeper. Kelleher’s abilities merit consistent playing time, and a move from Anfield could advance his career.
